Music at Grace Church

Grace Church has a long history of musical excellence, both instrumentally and chorally. Our Chancel Choir serves the 10:00 service every Sunday and rehearses Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. Our repertoire benefits from the long and rich history of the Anglican tradition—with music ranging from the renaissance to modern compositions.

The organ at Grace is a three manual 1907 Casavant with later additions, including one of the first positiv divisions in Canada, that makes a glorious sound. Grace is also blessed with a beautiful 7’ Steinway grand piano.

The music ministry of Grace Church Choir exists:

  • to nurture the worshipping community of Grace Church in the faith and the expression of that faith through music
  • to aid Grace Church congregations in worship by beautifying the liturgy with music
  • to lead the members of the Grace Church congregation in expressing their own worship through song by encouraging a high level of musical participation

It is the privilege of the members of Grace Church Choir to serve the worshipping community.

Anyone wishing to be involved in the music of the church please email Allison Clark via the church at info@graceanglicanbrantford.ca

Bell Ringing

The bells at Grace Anglican have been a long standing traditional sound that has filled the downtown with song for decades. Will Fletcher has been playing the bells at Grace since he was just a boy and continues to play the bells each Sunday before service and on special occasions when requested. Let this beautiful sound and the incredible tower welcome you to service.

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me
